Last weekend I got to shoot Amina Munster of Kill Yourself or Die Trying (incredible custom belts and other leather wear. Of course I have a great spilling light belt). It was a very short days in which we managed to squeeze five full shoots and a night or two of drinks and fantastic entertainment.
The shoots are mostly going to be secret for the time being, but let me just say that two of the themes (not even sampled here yet) are epic in the true sense of the word. Many of you will probably already know my obsession with cinematic photography, and that what I really love to do is try and create (or simply freeze) that atmosphere that exists but often gets overlooked. Amina’s ideas for her shoots provided the perfect environment for my creative obsessions and I could never compliment her enough.
One of the heavily themed shoots took place on a dry lake bed in homage to a film. Coming from such a green country surrounded by water I’ve been intrigued by deserts my whole life, so I was a bit distracted by my surroundings. Of course it was essential to the setting of the shoot so in a way it was definitely not a bad thing. There are a few snaps of the weekend below so take a look but don’t expect anything too special!

I had so much fun with you! I can’t believe how much we accomplished in just 2 short days! I cant wait for the first set to come out!
True Blood is SO fantastic, I’m still withdrawing from the last season. Those credits? Gah.
